DESCRIPTION
The Dante AVIO Analog Input Adapter brings a single channel of balanced line-level analogue audio onto a Dante network, letting integrators and engineers keep using mixing consoles, wireless receivers, DI boxes and other analogue sources on a networked system. It suits anyone migrating an existing rig to audio-over-IP without replacing trusted front-end gear.
Audio enters on a balanced 3-pin XLR connector and is converted to a Dante stream that appears in Dante Controller alongside every other device on the network, where it can be named, routed and monitored like any native Dante channel. Connection is a single RJ45 Ethernet run carrying both audio and power, so the adapter can be sited at the source rather than in the rack. The moulded housing is compact enough to hang off a stage box or console output and rugged enough for repeated deployment, and Audinate's firmware is updated through the same Dante tools used across the rest of the system.
- One channel of balanced line-level analogue input
- Balanced 3-pin XLR audio connector
- Single RJ45 network connection, powered over Ethernet with no external supply
- Discovery, routing, naming and subscription handled in Dante Controller
- Pairs with Dante AVIO Output adapters to patch DSPs, analogue compressors and equalisers into a Dante system
A practical choice for live events, theatre, houses of worship, corporate AV and education installations where analogue sources need to reach a Dante network.
