The Audinate Dante AVIO AES3 adapter is a compact 2-channel AES3 input and output bridge that brings existing digital audio gear onto a Dante network. It suits integrators, engineers and facility managers who need to keep proven AES3 amplifiers, DSPs, mic preamps and processors in service as a site migrates to networked audio.

Connections are made on XLR, with an AES3 input carrying two channels into the network and an AES3 output carrying two channels back out, so a single adapter handles both directions at a drop point. Power and audio share one Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet, removing the need for a local supply, and routing is handled in Dante Controller alongside every other device on the network. The moulded metal housing is built for permanent installation behind racks, in ceilings or at wall plates.
