DESCRIPTION
The JBL Professional 308P MkIII is an 8-inch two-way powered studio monitor built for accurate nearfield monitoring in tracking, mixing and post-production rooms. It suits engineers, producers and facility managers who need a dependable reference with enough low-frequency extension to judge bass content without a subwoofer in most small to medium rooms.
Each cabinet houses its own bi-amplified Class D amplification, with the crossover, limiting and transducer protection handled internally so the drivers are driven within their designed operating range. JBL's Image Control Waveguide aligns the acoustic output of the woofer and tweeter through the crossover region, broadening the usable listening area and keeping the stereo image stable off-axis. Balanced inputs and rear-panel room compensation controls make integration with an interface, monitor controller or console straightforward in both freestanding and soffit-adjacent positions.
