The JBL Professional 305P MkIII is a two-way powered studio monitor built around a 5-inch low-frequency transducer and a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, delivering the detailed, neutral response needed for critical mixing and tracking decisions. It suits project and commercial studios, post-production suites, broadcast edit rooms and musicians who need an accurate reference in a compact nearfield footprint.
Each transducer is driven by its own Class D amplifier, with the crossover and protection handled internally so the monitor presents a consistent load and a predictable gain structure across a pair. The third-generation Image Control Waveguide widens the usable listening area and keeps the stereo image stable off-axis, which matters in rooms where the engineer is not always locked to the sweet spot. Rear-panel controls allow the response to be matched to soffit, desk or stand placement, and the cabinet uses a rear-firing bass port for extended low-frequency output without a subwoofer.
