It suits anyone driving a passive multi-amped system who needs clean, predictable band splitting without the complexity of a DSP platform.

Filtering is handled by 24dB per octave Linkwitz-Riley networks, the professional standard for crossover work, so summed response through the crossover region stays flat and phase-coherent. Differentially balanced TRS inputs and outputs keep the unit quiet in longer cable runs and simplify integration with amplifier racks and console outputs. Mode switches reconfigure the topology, with stereo and mono status LEDs confirming the selected setup, and the metal chassis and detented controls stand up to permanent installation and repeated setup work.
