The dbx 131S is a single-channel, 31-band graphic equaliser offering 1/3-octave resolution across the audio spectrum, giving engineers and installers precise control over system response for room correction, monitor shaping and feedback management. It suits front-of-house engineers, integrators specifying fixed systems and musicians needing repeatable tonal control on a single channel.

Constant Q filters keep bandwidth consistent regardless of boost or cut amount, so adjacent bands interact predictably and corrective curves stay tight rather than broadening as gain increases. A switchable boost/cut range lets you choose between fine adjustment and wider corrective authority, while the low-cut filter removes stage rumble and handling noise before it reaches amplifiers. Balanced XLR and TRS connections on both input and output allow direct insertion into console inserts, matrix outputs or amplifier racks, and the rugged 1U steel chassis is built for permanent installation as well as touring racks.
