DESCRIPTION
The JBL 104-BTW is a compact powered reference monitoring system for desktop work, supplied as a pair comprising a master monitor and a passive extension monitor in white. It suits engineers, editors, content creators and musicians who need accurate near-field reference in a confined space, along with the convenience of wireless playback for client listening and casual checks.
Each cabinet uses a coaxial driver array, placing a 19 mm soft-dome tweeter at the centre of a 118 mm low-frequency driver so the acoustic centres coincide and imaging stays stable across a short listening distance. The moulded ABS enclosure carries a contoured low-frequency port and has been acoustically optimised for placement on a desk or console bridge. All amplification and connectivity sits in the master monitor, so only a single speaker cable and one mains lead are required, keeping the workspace tidy.
