DESCRIPTION
The JBL Professional 104-BT is a compact powered reference monitoring system designed for desktop production, supplied as a pair comprising a master monitor and a passive extension monitor. It suits engineers, editors and musicians working in tight spaces who need a reliable reference for tracking, editing and mixing without the footprint of full-size nearfields.
A coaxial driver arrangement places the 19 mm soft-dome tweeter at the acoustic centre of the 118 mm low-frequency driver, giving a coherent point source and a broad listening window at close range. The moulded ABS cabinet uses a contoured low-frequency port and is acoustically optimised for placement on a desk or console bridge. All amplification and input electronics sit in the master monitor, so a single cable feeds the extension speaker and cabling clutter stays minimal.
